Exciting Weekend!

Yesterday was a very exciting day for Emerald M Farm!  Back in December, I was speaking at an autism support group at Trinity Medical Center.  One of the attendees and her husband, the founders of a beautiful organization called Release, approached me.  They were so impressed by the Hippotherapy program that the farm is providing for the community that they took us under their wing to help improve the needs of the farm to help service this population.  Their first project is to help raise funds to build a wheelchair ramp to make it easier and safer for those in wheelchairs to mount our horses.  Yesterday was the first fundraising event in our honor.  It was held at the Organic Life Coffeehouse in Palm Harbor, FL.  Unfortunately, the rain kept everyone inside, but did not ruin the spirit of the event- Some great bands played, the food was delicious, and the people were amazing.  Emerald M Farm is truly grateful to Release.  Visit their website at http://www.Releaselove.org
