This summer, Emerald M has continued to serve multiple participants, with school and the fall weather soon upon us Emerald M will be composing our fall schedule for our participants, which will consist of services being provided in the morning and into late afternoons.  With this hot summer weather, safety and acknowledgment of heat advisories have been taken very seriously.  Being an organization with eleven five-legged friends it is always important to make sure our furry co-workers stay hydrated and healthy in harsh heat conditions.  Some ways that our horse caretakers ensure this vital task is by keeping horses under fans in their stalls when the summer heat becomes unbearable.  Along with giving our horses baths, haircuts, and body clippings so they are as cool as possible.  And of course, enjoying hydrating treats such as Gatorade, watermelon, and occasionally popsicles.  We wish everyone a fun summer! Stay cool!
