We are so very excited and grateful here at Emerald M Farm.  Our hippotherapy program is growing by leaps and bounds!  We finally have a brand new wheelchair ramp to mount the horses for those who need it.  A HUGE thank you goes out to Releaselove.org for going above and beyond to raise all of the money to make this ramp possible.  Many of my family members, friends, and patients’ families donated to this, as well as, many people that I don’t even know.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

To many, a wheelchair ramp may not seem like a big deal, but for those people who are confined to wheelchairs, it is monumental! It allows them to safely transfer from their chairs directly onto the horse.  Horses give them the freedom of mobility and allow them to perceive the world from a different height.  No one has a disability on the back of a horse.  This ramp now allows Emerald M Farm to reach out to many more people with special needs and offer them the ability to experience something magical!
